Nearly half of the students at Eaton Elementary qualify for the free or reduced price lunch program, and some of these families sometimes struggle to provide other necessities. For this reason, 2RC provides shoes to those students that the school officials identify as being most in need. Last year, 2RC provided nearly 100 pairs of shoes!
Volunteers are needed to help prepare for the shoe giveaway including raising money, coordinating with Eaton Elementary, arranging for gift certificates to a local store, and helping with the gift certificate giveaway!
