2RC TRANSITION PRAYER POINTS

Embrace Faith

Pray for faith in God, that He will provide all our needs.

“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1

And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6

“Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21

Depend On Wisdom

Pray for wisdom for our Transition Team, Elders & Staff.

“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.” James 1:5

“But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.” James 3:17

My son, if you receive my words and treasure up my commandments with you, making your ear attentive to wisdom and inclining your heart to understanding; yes, if you call out for insight and raise your voice for understanding, if you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.” Proverbs 2:1-5

Practice Unity

Pray for unity & protection for our congregation.

“…eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” Ephesians 4:3

This God—His way is perfect; the Word of the Lord proves true; He is a shield for all those who take refuge in Him.” Psalm 18:30

In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.” 1 John 4:9-11

Choose Joy

Pray for all to choose joy in this time of transition.

You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” Psalm 16:11

“These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.” John 15:11

“Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds.” James 1:2
