Freedom 4/24 exists to bring freedom and justice to victims and survivors of sexual exploitation and trafficking through providing awareness and education and expanding the work of our partners.
Run 4 Their Lives is Freedom 4/24’s race series which is held in cities across the United States to bring communities together for a family friendly, hopeful event to increase awareness of human trafficking, share stories of girls who are now rescued and free, and to encourage continued advocacy. Freedom 4/24 is partnering with two local Knoxville organizations for this event:
- Community Coalitition Against Human Trafficking (CCAHT) (http://ccaht.org) is the only counter-trafficking organization in upper East Tennessee that works to unite and equip our community to end modern-day slavery while providing survivors of human trafficking with individualized, relational care through its direct services program, Grow Free Tennessee.
- Street Hope TN (http://www.streethopetn.org) is a faith-based organization leading churches, community organizations and individuals on a comprehensive path to end domestic minor sex trafficking (DMST) in Tennessee and in the US. Street Hope TN trains people by spreading awareness of DMST, connecting churches to community services meeting the needs of vulnerable children, and engaging individuals in making a difference for justice in the lives of our community.
You can participate in this event as a runner, walker, fundraiser, or volunteer. Visit Freedom 4/24’s web page for more details.
