Serve Saturday

October 1, 2022

As Christians, we are called to love God and love others. And when we love someone, we want to help them in their time of need and for the glory of God.

  • Isaiah 58:10: “If you pour yourself out for the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then your light will rise in the darkness and your gloom will be as the noonday.”
  • 1 Peter 4:10: “As each has received a gift, use it to serve another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.”
  • Galatians 5:13: “For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.”
  • Matthew 5:16: “Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”

Serve Saturdays are an opportunity for the church to become the hands and feet of Christ in the communities surrounding our campuses. Three times per year, we’ll spend 2–3 hours on a Saturday morning to help those in need in the areas surrounding our campuses. Register below to join in loving others because He first loved us!
